The 219 pitch chain from ČZ Řetězy is a quality chain designed for sprint racing. It has good stretch resistance properties and is more durable than the cheaper alternatives.
These chains are manufactured in the Czech Republic to a high standard, using quality German and Austrian steel. The company has had a worldwide reputation for producing quality products since 1929.

Applications
Bambino and Cadet classes
Junior and Senior classes
- Mount the engine and align front and rear sprockets
- Release the engine and move close to the rear sprocket in order to place the chain on both sprockets without any tensile stress.
- Move the engine towards its optimum position and perform the chain tension, allowing for a play between 10 and 15 mm. You may need several attempts before achieving optimum tension.
- Tighten the engine mounting bolts.
When fitting a new chain always use a new rear sprocket to ensure maximum longevity.
Lubrication
Always use a high-quality lubricant.
The chain must be lubricated before each session in order to penetrate into the spaces between the pins, bushes, and rollers. Never apply the lubricant on a wet or dirty chain. Moisture or dirt must first be removed.
Never use any chemical products to clean your chain (e.g. petrol, brake cleaner, etc.) as they can eliminate the lubrication of the rollers and pins.
Maintenance
Regularly inspect your chain for damage or wear. Ensure the chain is not overly bright (lubricating problem) and fits properly on the front and rear sprockets. A chain wear tool can be useful to verify the condition of a chain.
Ensure the rollers are not cracked or damaged.
If a chain has any defects - replace it immediately.
